Position: Deputy Director, Asia Division

The Deputy Director provides oversight and direction for the region’s legal reform programs while developing and expanding its program portfolio. The legal reform programs include areas such as: anti-corruption and public integrity, judicial reform, legal profession reform, legal education reform, human rights, criminal law, gender issues, and civic education. Plays a critical role in ensuring quality program delivery, and that programs are responsive to the needs of host-country partners. Must make decisions regarding problems or opportunities both in the field and domestically. Represent the region with funders. Assists the regional director with overseeing the region’s development and growth through the provision of technical assistance, outreach, and by seeking funding from both the private and public sector.

Must have a master’s or JD and at least 8 years of relevant experience in international development. Must have experience in operating within the framework of a grant-funded program. Substantial experience in administrative or program management at the supervisory level, as well as grants management and monitoring.
