Position Description
We are seeking a discovery attorney to join the Litigation Admin and Operations team. Primary responsibilities will include: advising litigators on discovery; assisting with developing and maintaining Litigation Department policies and procedures globally; selecting and managing electronic discovery technology and vendors; interaction and coordination with IT and other infrastructure groups that support discovery processes.

Primary internal contacts include litigation attorneys supporting all of Morgan Stanley’s businesses globally. The position also entails participation with Compliance, IT and Records Management professionals advising the Firm on records retention and discovery issues, and involves significant contact with outside counsel with respect to significant discovery issues.

Skills Required
Four to six years of large firm litigation experience, ideally working with financial industry clients. Candidate should have experience working on large litigation matters with extensive document/email collection and review.
Should exhibit comfort working with various computer programs as well as various data types. Should have familiarity with one or more discovery review tools.
